Creative & design director with two decades of experience in combining strategy with design to create, position and direct scalable, cross-platform brands and digital experiences.


I never separate strategy from design or design from strategy and I view brands and digital experiences as interconnected ecosystems resonating with, and dependent upon, user and audience engagement.

I worked in senior design roles for large networked global agencies (WPP, IPG, Omnicom) before founding an independent global design and strategy studio, ID&B, which I ran from Cape Town for 15 years before moving to London in 2021.


I understand the power of collaboration and strong relationships, and I have demonstrable experience in building, mentoring and managing creative teams across complex long term projects, always delivering exceptional work within timeframes and budgets.
